Translation: PICASSO (ZH, DE & CZ) Freelance

Description:

We are launching a new Translation project, PICASSO, available in several languages. Previous experience is a plus, but not necessary for this one.

Participants will grade already existing translations following rules and guidelines we will provide.

The content of the translations is varied and not too specialised. You can expect news extracts, formal documents and files of the sort.

Purpose:

The translations will help improve our client’s AI software, aimed towards the enhancement of machine translations.

Main requirements:

• You are a native speaker of :
  • Simplified Chinese
  • Czech
  • German
• Additionally, you have a very good command of English. You will be translating from this language.
• You have access to a laptop and a good internet connection.
• You have a Translation or Linguistics background, such as a BA or MA.

Other important information:

• We offer flexible schedule. Work as much as you want. A minimum number of hours is required, but you will be able to determine your own working time.

• We are only looking for native speakers of the variant specified above, and you will be required to take a translation certification to qualify for the project. Please, do not apply if you are not a native speaker or your application will be rejected.
